I got into taking pictures of empty sports grounds and sports arenas when I was at College. I shot a load of tennis courts - just the lines painted on the ground. This image of Andy Murray from the 2010 Wimbledon Championships reminded me a lot of that series. I will try to dig some out.
It is a very bold use of a single image from Esquire - I wish magazines would use these sort of images more - no eye contact - negative space - no obvious action - coupled with the headline it looks very special ****************************
