I don't normally post just words here but I have just watched the news and heard of the death of Tim Hetherington, a British photographer covering the events in Libya. He also co-produced
Restrepo which I have a copy of but have only manage to watch half. What I have seen is brilliantly shot - you can tell he used his eye as a photographer to shoot the moving images. I will watch it all over Easter.
I admire photographers that travel thousands of miles from their home to document world events and put themselves in harms way to create images - I am a massive fan of
Jason P. Howe and his work covering British forces in Afghanistan .
I am going to look at more of Hetherington's work.
